Melinda L. Bunkley, 57, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation is 12 Noon until 2:45 pm, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral Services are 3 pm from the Chapel of Ott & Lee with burial to follow in Crestview Cemetery.
Melinda Lockhart was born on December 28, 1955 in Laurel, MS to the late William Patrick and Allene Carmen Jacobs Lockhart. She had worked for the Rankin County Sheriff Department and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Bunkley of Brandon; two sons, Taylor Austin Neill of Jackson and Christopher Landon Neill of Brandon; one brother, Robert Douglas Lockhart of Kingwood, TX; and two grandchildren, Christopher Chisolm and Kenley Faith Neill.
