Graveside services for Mr. Melvin Keith Bradshaw will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2016 from the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Polkville with the Rev. J.T. Laird and Rev. Zach Kilpatrick officiating under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 am until 12 noon at the funeral home.
Melvin Keith Bradshaw was born October 20, 1932 and passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the age of 83. A Morton native, Mr. Bradshaw moved to Pearl where he was a resident for over 50 years. After retirement as a salesman from the Noland Company, he and his wife, Sylvia moved to Polkville where they lived until recently moving to the MS Gulf Coast to be near their daughter. Gardening and hunting were two of his favorite hobbies. Mr. Bradshaw was a member of the First Baptist Church in Polkville.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Melvin and Aura Edwards Bradshaw.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Sylvia Searcy Bradshaw; one daughter: Cindy Williams and her husband, Fred; three grandchildren: Brad, Doug, and Brooke Williams; one sister: Wanda Reynolds; and one brother: Graham Bradshaw; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 am until 12 noon at the funeral home.
