Merl Lee Foster Polkville Merl Lee Foster, age 87, a resident of Polkville passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 at MS. Care Center in Morton. Visitation was held 5-8pm Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 10am-10:45am Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Polkville First Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Jeremy Price and Bishop Barron Price officiated the services. Arrangments were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Merl was born on September 7, 1929 in Polkville, MS. She loved to crochet, work find-a-word puzzle books and make quilts. Merl was known for her buttermilk pound cakes and lazyman peach cobbler. She loved her garden and did lots of bagging vegetables. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilton and Novis Lee; husband, William Kenneth Foster; brother, Herman Lee; sister, Alice Ruth Purvis. She is survived by her children, Sue Denson Lawrence of Polkville and Donald Kenneth Foster (Brenda) of Atlanta; 2 brothers, Earnest Lee (Willie Mae) of Polkville and Howard Lee (Bobbie) of Brandon; 3 grandchildren, Steven Lamar Denson (Reenee) of Branch, Jason Lee Denson (J.J.) of Polkville and Raegan Foster of Atlanta; 2 great grandchildren, Andrea Jane Denson and Colten Jace Denson; and a host of friends. Pallbearers were Lavon Purvis, Randy Lee, Ben Lee, Jace Denson, Nolan Klein and Jason Bradshaw. .
