Michael Crotwell

Michael A. Crotwell passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday January 2, 2021 at the age of 76. Michael was always prepared to trade a great fishing or hunting story with a quiet confidence that comes from decades of success at both. He was a loved husband that preceded his wife, Gary, whom he loved with that same quiet confidence found throughout his personality.

Michael is survived by his 4 children and their 2 spouses Steve Crotwell, Kevin and Felicia Crotwell, Chris Daughdrill, and Stephanie and Jonathan Stringer. He was also survived by 9 grandchildren Colby, Kaley, Cooper, Brayden, Brantley, Ashlynn, Madison, Tristen, and Kennedy. He worked in management for White System of Jackson, Inc. from 1970 until 2006 when they were purchased by Pioneer Credit Co. in July of 2006 and later merged with Mariner Finance LLC in July 2016 until retirement in December of 2016. Close friends and family knew they could count on him if they ever needed help or just a good recipe. Few people really knew how good of a cook he really was but for those of us lucky enough to be educated we tried to sample his cooking every chance we got.

Visitation will be 12:30 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS, followed by at graveside service at 2pm.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
