Michael Wallace

1954 — January 1, 2019

Morton, MS

Michael Wayne “Bubba” Wallace was born March 30, 1954. He passed away on October 24, 2019 at the age of 65.

A Scott County native, Mike had lived in the Forkville community for the past 33 years. He will be remembered for the love that he had for his family, in particular his foster children, and his nieces and his nephews, who affectionately called him “Bubba.” He was a proud University of Southern Mississippi football supporter, and also a Brett Farve fan, and a follower of the Green Bay Packers. Fishing, hunting, boating and tractor driving were favorite pass times. His legacy is one of faith and trust in the Lord Jesus and the fact that he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need for many years. He held membership with Bethlehem Baptist Church at Forkville.

He loved his Sugar Baby, his poodle that crossed the rainbow bridge several months ago, and Rosie, his chihuahua, was the love of his life.

Survivors include his best friend: Mrs. Sue Wallace; one foster son: Anthony Stanley; two nieces: Angel (Joshua) Richardson and Crystal Waters; two nephews: Chris Long and Donnie Davis; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; one aunt: Bernice Ragsdale and two uncles: Bennie Wallace and Hilton Wallace.

Preceding him in death are his parents: Mervin and Elease Bates Wallace and one sister: Vickey Davis.

Celebration of life services will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

All floral deliveries may be made to the church on Monday morning prior to the celebration service.
