Michael L. May, 56, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at his residence in Jackson, MS. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 1 pm at Brandon Memorial Gardens. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is in charge of arrangements.
Michael was born on March 13, 1956 to the late Herman Lewis May, Sr. and Ellen Earline Lowe May in Brandon, MS. He was a lifelong resident of Brandon, MS. He worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 30 years. He attended Cornerstone Church in Pearl, MS.
Survivors include his mother, Ellen Earline May of Florence, MS; three children, Eric May (Laura) of Brandon, Dana May of Brandon, and Deirdre May of Sorney, Texas; one sister, Sherry Sims (J. M.) of Florence; three brothers, Herman May, Jr. , Richard May, and Steve May (Julie) all of Brandon, MS; one grandchild, Kari Hutchinson; and several nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife, Joyce May of Brandon
