Mrs. Michelle Braud Thompson, age 47, a resident of Brandon passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. Her visitation was held 5-9pm Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 8am-12:30pm Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Leesburg Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Joseph Oster and Rev. Jeff Jones officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Michelle was born in Baton Rouge, LA on October 8, 1966 and the daughter of the late, Glen Thomas Braud Sr. and Vada Ory Braud. She loved football and was a dire hard LSU and Giants fan. Michelle was a loving mother to twin boys, Bryce and Blake and step son, Andy Thompson. She loved cold weather, Cajun food, camping and her home state of Louisiana. Michelle loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronny Thompson of Brandon, formerly of Leesburg; her children, twin boys, Bryce and Blake Thompson of Brandon and Andy Thompson of Morton; 2 brothers, Arthur Braud of Baton Rouge and Glen Thomas Braud Jr. of San Diego, CA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Merle Thompson of Leesburg; numerous nieces, nephews, many other family members and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Zach Evans, Lane Evans, Zach Collins, Michael Smith, Derrick Braud and David Braud.
Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Alzheimer's Assn.
