Mike Alexander Butler, 57, passed away Wednesday, December 02, 2015 at Hospice Ministries, in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Services will be 10am Friday in the chapel of the funeral home. There will be a 2pm graveside Friday at Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven, MS.
Mr. Butler was born Oct. 26, 1958 in Brookhaven, MS, graduated from Brookhaven High School. He also graduated Pharmacy School at the University of Louisiana, Monroe, LA. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church.
Mike was a pharmacist at Super D Drug Store in Highland Village for 25 years and currently at Fred’s Pharmacy in Pelahatchie, MS. He enjoyed traveling, white water rafting and good food. He was an Eagle Scout and avid Ole Miss fan.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, and papaw.
Survivors include “love of his life”, Jenny; sons, Jason and wife, Erica, and Allen and wife, Tarah; grandson, Rowan. He is also survived by sister, Debbie Alexander and husband, Tim; in-laws, Leonard and Deleathea Foster; brother-in-law, Mitchell Foster and wife, Tammy, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, M.A. Butler and Ida F. Martin; brother-in-law, Lance Foster.
