Mildred Mott English, 88, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Services will be 10am Thursday, September 15, 2016, in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be in the Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Martinville, MS of Simpson County.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Ponder East (Robert) of Brandon, MS; son, Michael English (Bridget) of Terry, MS; grandchildren, Hoi-Anne Thornton, London Wagner (Tom), Brittney English and Brannon English (Megan); great grandchildren, Carlie and Kaylee Thornton, Rod and Airman 1st Class Taylor Bridges, Sierra Chushman, Lawson Langton and twins, Dottie and Daisy English. She is also survived by a dear family friend, Ollie Robinson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie English.
