Mildred Jones, 84, a resident of Forest died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest. Graveside services will be held 11 am Saturday at Harperville Memorial Park in Forest. Visitation was held 9-10:30 am Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jones was a native of Scott Co. She worked in the grocery industry over 65 years. She work as clerk at Vowells Market prior to becoming ill. Mrs. Jones was a member of Forest Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons, Johnny W. (Shirley) Gunn of Forest and Jimmy L. (Madge) Mayfield of Forest; 5 grandchildren, Shelly L. Burns, Johnny W. Gunn, Chadwick Burns, Connie Wood and Miah Crosby; 15 great grandchildren many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
