Miles Tullos, Sr.
March 20, 1931 — October 18, 2012
Miles Jerome Tullos, 81, left this world to be with his Lord, October 18, 2012. Visitation will be 5 until 8 pm Friday, October 19 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 9am until 10am Saturday at Pelahatchie Baptist Church with services at 10 am. Interment will be in Corinth Baptist Cemetery in Magee, MS.
He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, serving on the USS Joyce and USS Higbee. He had a long and distinguished 46, year career with Vickers/Eaton Aero-Space Engineering re¬tiring at the age of 70 and was a member of Pelahatchie Baptist Church for 45 years. He was a beloved husband of 51 years, an exceptional father to 4 wonderful children, and he was the best “Pappy” to 7 exceptional grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Byron and Minnie Tullos, brother Lavell Tullos, sister and brother In-law Peggy and Perry Bullard, and nephew Miles Lavell Tullos.
He is survived by his wife Sue Douglas Tullos. Children: Miles Jr., Samantha Crites (Ken), Doug Tullos (Sara), Tanya Bosarge (Mike). Grandchildren: Lindsey Tullos, Bailey Tullos, Brock Tullos, Sarah Britt Crites, Baker Crites, Tulley Crites, Vivian Bosarge. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy will live on with his family and friends.
