Minnie Marell Sanford

Minnie Marell Davis Sanford, 81, a resident of Florence, MS, passed away on Wed. Aug. 19, 2020 at Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. Visitation will be from 10am-10:45am on Sat. Aug. 22, 2020 at New Destiny Pentecostal Church in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 11am at New Destiny Pentecostal  Church in Richland, MS with burial to follow in the Richland Cemetery in Richland, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Sanford was born on Sept. 3, 1938 in Taylorsville, MS to the late Clarence and Ruby Nell Stringer Davis.

Mrs. Sanford is survived by her husband, Hulon Sanford; son, Tim Sanford (Tammy); daughter, Tammy Urshan (Jonathan); two sisters, Erma Stennett and Ruth Stringer; two brothers, Paul Davis and Larry Davis; six grandchildren, Amanda Sloma (Dan), Anna Taylor (Charles), Joh David Urshan (Megan), Ben Urshan, Caleb Urshan, Levi Urshan and two great grandchildren, Addalyn Taylor and Sutton Urshan. Mrs. Sanford is also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Fields and a brother, J.C. Davis.
