Mitchell Revette

Mr. Mitchell G. Revette, age 40 and a resident of Morton, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Wood and Rev. Bo Bo Phillipson officiating, assisted by Mr. Miles Porter. Interment will follow in the Sims Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mitchell was a Christian by faith and attended Still Blessed Church. He loved sports of all kinds, served as a coach for the Morton Rookies football team and baseball team. Always  dedicated to the Morton Panthers, Mitchell was a faithful attendee of the Morton High School football games.  He loved his family very much and spending time with his children brought him so much joy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lela King and Clell Williams.

Survivors include his wife: Nitkia Revette; three children: Lauren E. Revette, Joseph M. Revette, and Reid I. Revette; his mother: Bonnie (James) Chamblee; brother: Jeremy (Miriam) Revette; one niece: Rachael N. Revette; two nephews: Dylan P. Revette and Levi W. Revette; his mother-in-law: Maggie Alford; and a host of other family and friends.
