Morgan Shoemaker

Morgan Daniel Shoemaker, age 43 and a resident of Smith County passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeremy Price officiating.

Graveside services will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday at the Womack/Dry Creek Cemetery in Magee under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the funeral home.

He was attended the Church of God and was a former truck driver with Welch Trucking. Daniel will be remembered for his love for the game of pool, and his "jokester" personality. He loved life and will be remembered by those who loved and cared for him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Howard Shoemaker and Kathy Johnson Chain and one child, who passed away at birth.

Survivors include his wife: Stephanie Shoemaker; two children: one son: Howard "Russ" Shoemaker and one daughter: Haley Danielle Shoemaker; three brothers: Jason (Susan) Shoemaker; Howard (Tina) Shoemaker and Kevin Shoemaker and a host of other family and friends.
