Alvin “Buck” Seaney, age 87, a resident of Lena passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Carthage. Visitation was held 8:30 am-10:00 am on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Graveside service was held 11am Saturday at Allen Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Michael Bradley officiated. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Seaney was born in Hinds County of August 30, 1935. He loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing, doing yard work and working in the garden. Buck loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Seaney and Florence Mae Jones Seaney; his loving wife, Panola R. Seaney; sister, Frankie Mae and son-in-law, Bobby Joe Williams.
He is survived by his children, Alvin Seaney and wife, Sheila of Lena and Cindy Williams of Lena; siblings, Jo Dell Boggs of Braxton, Peggy Huff of Flowood, Linda Sue Bailey (James) of Brandon and James Fuzzy Seaney (Lynn) of Lena; 6 grandchildren, Shonnie Lynn Price (Jathon), Misty Pittman (Derrick), Sandi Patrick (McKenzie), Gage Seaney (Breanna), Bobby Wayne Williams and Amanda (Bird) Carter and a host of great grandchildren and friends.
Pallbearers were Gage Seaney, Bobby Wayne Williams, Man Parks, Derrick Pittman, McKenzie Patrick and Cody Lane Hill.
