Mr. Elwin Arnette Livingston, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation was held 6-8pm Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and also on Friday from 8:30am-2:00pm at funeral home. Funeral service was held 2:30pm Friday, June 29, 2012 from the Independence United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Art Kinstley officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Livingston was born in Scott County in 1929. He loved to play golf and be outdoors hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elwin and Eunice Livingston; brother, Dick Livingston; sisters, Annie Rae Stroud, Bobbie Ruth Duncan and Eva Grace Noblin.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Celia Livingston of Pearl; son, Daniel Livingston (Lou) of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister, Alice Heron; grandson, Van Baucum; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Mark Smith, Derek Hudson, Stan Crotwell, Steven Crotwell, David Livingston and Duncan Beard. Honorary pallbearer was John Heron.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Ms. Animal Rescue League.
