Mrs. Bobbie Lynn Stanley Myers

Mrs. Bobbie Lynn Stanley Myers, age 95, a resident of Pelahatchie went to her Heavenly home on Monday, February 24, 2025.  

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11am-12pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Chapel service will be held on Saturday at 12pm from the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton.

Graveside will be held at Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery.

Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton is honored to serve the Myers family.

Mrs. Bobbie Lynn Stanley Myers sadly passed away on February 24, 2025 after a lengthy battle with the debilitating effects of a stroke. She was born on November 19, 1929 to George Rayne and Ellen Doris Stanley.

 Bobbie worked for many years at M & H Manufacturing and Multi Craft in Pelahatchie. Her favorite job was being the nanny for Andy and Sarah Stewart's two sweet girls. 

 Bobbie is survived by her grandson Wesley Perkins, who lived with her and lovingly took care of her for years, granddaughter Ashley Perkins Bowman; great granddaughter Aliya Ward, great grandson Landon Bowman and a great great granddaughter Solia McDougal. Survivors also include brother Don (Sheila) Stanley who was her caretaker; sisters Bernie Cook, Norma Brewer, Gloria Shaw and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence "Bunk" Myers, her beloved daughter, Carla Myers Perkins and grandson Heath Perkins; parents George Rayne and Ellen Doris Stanley; sisters Mattie Rayne "Betty" Bates, Dorothy Coghlan, Imogene Brown and Bonnie Cooper. 

 Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 am with a memorial service at 12:00 noon in the chapel at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, Ms. Graveside service will follow at Rehobeth Baptist Church, 426 Rehobeth Road, Pelahatchie, MS.

 Pallbearers are Rocky Easterling, Mitch Easterling, Lennis Stanley, Eric Stanley, Joe Bynum and Tommy Turbville.

Honorary pallbearers are Phil Easterling and John Myers.

Although it was hard to understand Bobbie when she talked, we could always understand her when she said "I Love You." We love you too.
