Church Service: 11am Wednesday at Independence United Methodist Church.

Burial: church cemetery.

Mrs. Willie Maude Moore,

Morton, MS

Willie Maude Moore, age 87, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at MS Care Center in Morton.  

She loved to crochet, sew, garden and fish.  Willie Maude loved her grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them.  After her husband passed she missed him very much.  She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and going and watching her grandchildren play sports.  She will be greatly  missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Wiggins and Clemmie Wiggins; husband, Ardell Moore; children, Virgil Moore, Belinda Moore and Vincent Moore.

She is survived by her son, Quinton Moore (Cathy); sister, Louise McNeese (Jerry); grandchildren, Bryan Moore, Ryan Moore, Shawn Walker, Kenneth Moore, VJ Moore and Stephanie Moore; a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
