VISITATION: 5-8 PM TUESDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON
Mrs. Lee Earl Chambless, 75, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. A graveside service will be at 10 am Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Brandon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Rodney Bounds will officiate.
Mrs. Chambless was a native of Louisiana and a longtime resident of Rankin County. She received Jesus in her heart in 1944 and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Flowood.
On July 4, 1956 she married Lawrence (Rounman) Chambless who preceded her in death in 2011. Mrs. Chambless was a very hard worker. She worked at Brandon Academy for several years to help put her children through private school
Survivors include her daughter, Lee Ann Boykin (Hugh) of Brandon; sons, Danny and Mike Chambless of Brandon; grandchildren, Todd Owens, Lauren Roberts (Joseph), Tyler Owens (April) and Amanda Slawson (Josh); eight great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Layton (Judy) of
Monroe, LA, Pete Smith of Brandon and son, Matthew of Colorado; special family, Curtis Brewer (Janice), Earl Brewer (Sandi) and Donna Moulder (Dean) all of Vicksburg.
