Mrs. Luna Ferrell

Mrs. Luna Cushman Ferrell, age 97, a resident of Morton passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton.  Visitation will be held 10:30am-11am Monday, August 31, 2020 at Bare Foot Springs Baptist Cemetery.  Graveside service will be held 11am Monday at the cemetery.  Bro. Tal Vardaman will officiate the service.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Luna was born in Mississippi on August 2, 1923.  She enjoyed being around people, laughing and having a good time.  Mrs. Luna had made many friends at the Care Center and she loved her family very much.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Griffin and Mollie White Griffin; and her husband, James B. Cushman, Sr.

She is survived by her son, James Cushman, Jr. of Louin; sister, Lucille Stagg; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Cushman, Logan Cushman, Jody Dolan and Cody Shaw.
