Mrs. Mary D. Cockrell, age 81, a resident of Morton made her arrival through the heavenly gates on Monday, July 27, 2020 with her passing at the Mississippi Care Center in Morton. Her visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Still Blessed Worship Center in Morton and 10am-11am Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the church. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Still Blessed Worship Center with burial in East Morton Cemetery. Bro. John Goodhue and Bro. Aaron Wood will officiate the services.
Mrs. Cockrell was the daughter of Benjamin and Minnie Englen.
Preceded in death by her husband John H. Cockrell; her parents and all of her siblings.
She is survived by five children, Larry Wood, wife Belinda, Sherry Palmer, husband James, Kathy Hatch husband Tim, Bro. Aaron Wood, wife Jean, Rodney Wood, wife Connie; sister-n-law, Betty Englen; nineteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and three great great Grandchildren.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
