Maudine M. Shumaker, age 84, a resident of Forest, died Thursday March 8, 2012 at the Bethany Hospice Center in Madden following a short illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Saturday March 10, 2012 from the Hillsboro Baptist Church with interment in the Hillsboro Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ted Hawkins officiated the services.
Mrs. Shumaker was a lifelong resident of this area, and a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jim Ming and Clora Breazeale Ming, and by two brothers, Dan Ming and Freddie Ming
Survivors include her husband Robert Shumaker of Forest, one son Bobby Shumaker and wife Faith, and a daughter, Carolyn Lott and husband Clayton all of Forest. She is also survived by one sister, Jimmie Brewer of Brandon and one brother, Prentis Ming of Carrollton, VA., 2 grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Kenny Monk, Denning Eure, Michael Shumaker, Joe Bell, Jeffery White and Thelton Bell.
