Mrs. Mildred Bricker, age 94, a resident of Lena passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Leake. Her visitation will be 9:00 am- 10:45 am Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton. Graveside will follow in Morton Memorial Gardens. Bro. M.L. Wallace and Dr. Billy McKay will officiate the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Bricker was born in Scott County on July 31, 1926. Mildred always loved for her family to come visit and she would always have a table full of food cooked and cooking was one of her favorite hobbies. She was a long-time member of New Home Baptist Church since 1950 and was the oldest member of the church. She always had a hug and an open lap for all her precious grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mildred loved her family very much and she will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond I. Bricker, Sr.; parents, Alfred McCaughn and Marie Jones McCaughn; brothers, Edward and James McCaughn.
She is survived by her son, Randall (Louann) Bricker of Lena, son, Buddy (Helen) Bricker of Lena, daughter, Janiece Miller of Woodstock, GA, daughter, Ann (Eddie) Derrick of Lena, son, Billy (Wanda) Bricker Waco, TX, brother, Charles (Elizabeth) McCaughn of Morton, brother, Robert (Sarah) McCaughn of Brandon, sister, Dorothy Hudson of Morton, sister, Carolyn (Leon) Brooks of FL, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Bowman, Chris Bricker, Tadd Bricker, Keith Clark, Jody Derrick, Tristen Derrick and Jeff Huggins. Honorary pallbearers will be Atley Bricker, McCade Bricker, McKennon Bricker, Eli Bowman, Holton Clark, Aiden Lindsey and Chris Crane.
