Mrs. Mildred Mcdill

Mrs. Mildred Ledlow McDill, age 92, a resident of Union passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Anderson Regional Hospital.  There will be no services at this time.

Mrs. McDill was born in Newton County on April 10, 1928.  She loved to work in her garden and her beautiful flowers.  Mrs. Mildred loved to cook and always took to people that were sick or shut in.  She loved her church, Conehatta Baptist  and enjoyed fixing the flower arrangements for the church and working in the church yard.  Her family stated, " she was caring, giving and they always looked up to her."  Mrs. Mildred loved her family and enjoyed raising her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James L. McDill; son, Jack Kevin McDill and parents, Robert Ledlow and Ethal Harrison Ledlow.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Megan Cain (Chris), Sandi Ezell (Chris) and Jordan McDill; great granddaughter, Samantha Ezell.
