Myrna Winstead

Myrna Husband Winstead, age 97, a resident of Raleigh, died Thursday August 9, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services were conducted at 2pm Saturday August 11, 2012 from the chapel of the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment to follow in the Burns United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
Rev. B. B. Watson officiated the services.
Mrs. Winstead was preceded in death by her parents , Rulon Husband and Agnes Thompson Husband, a sister, Myrtle Glaze, a brother Prentiss Husband and her husband, Henry Gladstone (Glad) Winstead.
She is survived by two sons, James Winstead (Shirley) of Pearl and H.G. Winstead, Jr. (Anne) of Hattiesburg. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Chris Winstead, Dorothy Porter, and three great grandchildren, Catherine Schmidt, Rebecca Winstead , Rachel Winstead, and her loving niece Lynette Moore. Mrs. Winstead will also be greatly missed by her two caring friends, Maxine Pace and Ethel Mae Franklin.
Pallbearers were Steve Austin, Keith Crumpton, Robert Lane, Bobbie Moore, Tommy Rogers, Keith Wedgeworth, Larry West and Chris Winstead.
