Mrs. Myrtis McCrory Bradshaw, age 83, went home to eternal glory on October 4, 2017 in Jackson, MS. Visitation services are 5:00pm until 8:00 pm October 5, 2017 and 10:00 until 11:00 am Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Funeral services are at 11:00 am Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS with the interment at the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS following the service.
Mrs. Bradshaw was born to Tom and Ruby Westerfield McCrory on April 19, 1934 in the town of Morton and has lived in the area all of her life. She worked as a Supervisor for M & H Manufacturing Company. She loved to cut grass and taking care of her yard and was a great gardener and florist and she really loved her day lilies and roses. Mrs. Myrtis loved cooking for her family and loved always doing things for them. She also knew all of the family's history and the history of most families in the community. She took care of everyone and was loving, compassionate and cared for all. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and a devoted woman of faith.
Myrtis Bradshaw is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Ruby McCrory; her husband George Bradshaw; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann (Bill) Brown of Pelahatchie, MS; her son, Ralph (Shelia) Bradshaw of Pelahatchie, MS; her four grandchildren; and her nine great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
