Mrs. Marie Davidson, 83, a resident of Morton passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation was held 4-7pm Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral Services were held 11am Monday, February 7, 2011 from the Pelahatchie Baptist Church with burial in the Lodebar Cemetery. Rev. Steve Mayes officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Davidson was born in Rankin County. She loved life and was and encourager to everybody. She saw Gods Handy work and beauty in everything. Marie loved taking care of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howard Davidson; parents, Benny L. Pace and Lula Mae Crain Pace; son Marvin Howard Davidson and sister, Ruby D. Huffman.
She is survived by her children, Ralph Davidson of Morton and Juanita Nowell (George Sinclair) of Pelahatchie; sisters, Bennie Ferguson of Pearl and Pat Pulliam (Buddy) of Petal; 3 grandchildren, Brian Burton Davidson (Karen), Rhonda M. Bradley (Michael) and Jeremiah Davidson Nowell (Misty); 5 great grandchildren, Bailey Davidson, Brennon Davidson, Franklin Joe Bradley, Taylor Nicole Nowell and Trey Thomas Nowell and a host of friends.
