Myrtle Hollingsworth

Mrs. Myrtle Imogene Hollingsworth, age 85, a lifelong resident of Forest passed away Saturday January 8, 2011 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday January 11, 2011 from the Ott & Lee Chapel of Forest with interment in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation held from 5pm to 8pm Monday January 10, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Warren will officiate the services.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by her parents Willie Lee Gunn and Eva Sanders Gunn. She was also preceded in death by her husband Elton E. Hollingsworth.
She is survived by her son Harold Hollingsworth of Vicksburg, Ms., and two daughters, Linda Kirtley of Decatur, Ms., and Nancy Daniels of Moody, Al., three sisters, Floy Wall and Rexa Walters both of Forest and Thelma Wilkerson of Lake, Ms., and a brother Marshall Gunn of Forest, and 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
