Myrtle Lee Traxler, 90, a resident of Polkville died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the MS Care Center of Morton. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Bobby Reddin will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Traxler was a native of Smith Co. She was the daughter of Grover Hollis and Irma Keene Lingle. She worked many years for Davis Brothers Poultry Company. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Traxler was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Hollis and Irma Keene Lingle and her sister, Irma Jewel Hughes.
Mrs. Traxler is survived by her children, Linda Lou Easterling, Jerry Winston Traxler and Noah Richard (Jean) Traxler; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; a niece, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Pat Traxler, Dave Traxler, Joseph Easterling, Noah LaneTraxler, Shawn Dennis and Nickey Dennis.
