Lillie Nadine Walker, age 78, a lifelong resident of Morton died Wednesday September 16, 2015 following an extended illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 10am Friday September 18, 2015 from the chapel of the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton with interment at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5p-8pm Thursday September 17, 2015. Rev. Tal Vardaman and Rev. Scotty Cooper officiated.
Mrs. Walker was born on August 21, 1937 in Scott County to her parents, Lloyd Mahaffey and Lillie Regions Mahaffey. She was a member of the Morton United Pentecostal Church. She had worked at Lackey Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 2004. She loved her family and enjoyed visiting with friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Calley A. Walker.
Survivors include six children; Anne W. Wilson (Kenneth) of Houston, MS
Sue W. Stewart (Buddy) of Lena, MS Ricky Walker (Dee Dee) of Polkville, Wendell Walker (Jane) , Lloyd Walker all of Morton and Lanee W. Rawson (Ronnie) of Forest. She is also survived by on sister: Bonnie Harmon, and a legacy of 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Kenny Wilson, Josh Walker, Shawn Walker, Perry Parker Jason Walker and Jessie Kyle.
