Nam Van Truong, 80, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014. Visitation will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS from 9am-12pm on Wednesday May 28, 2014. Graveside services will be held at Lakeland Place Cemetery in Brandon, MS following visitation.
Mr. Truong was born March 1, 1934 in Vinh Long, Vietnam. He migrated to the U. S. on July 13, 1993 with his family. He has enjoyed being a resident of the Jackson and Brandon area for 21 years. Mr. Truong was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Hui Nguyen. He is survived by his 5 sons: An of New Orleans, LA; An (Hue) of Richland, MS; Tan (Cheryl); Bao (Xuan); Loc (Quyen) all of Brandon, MS and 4 daughters: Trinh; Huong (Long Nguyen); Thu (Benjamin Berrios); Van (Ke Zhu) all of Brandon, MS; 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
