Nathan Paul Thomas, 35, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 from injuries sustained from a car accident in Jackson. Visitation is 5-8pm Friday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 in the chapel of the funeral home with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Nathan attended Clinton Elementary Public Schools and finished at Northwest Rankin. He was employed with Midas in Pearl, and a former employee of Big Ten Tire and Upton Tire.

He enjoyed golf and fishing, but absolutely loved football. He was a huge Alabama fan. He enjoyed sports and in his younger years had the potential to be a great baseball player. Nathan also enjoyed showing off his talent for cooking for his many friends and family.

He was a member of Flowood Baptist Church where he was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior in his teenage years.

Nathan leaves behind his precious sons, Jay Allen (Bird) Thomas and Chase Tanner Nelson of Gluckstadt; his parents, Debra Gordineer Wood (Jerry) of Brandon and Kenny Thomas (Pam) of Clinton; brothers, Anthony Thomas (Becca) of Louisville, KY, Scoty and Blake Hearst of Clinton; maternal grandmother, Naomi Gordineer of Florence, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. His brother, Benjamin Thomas of Clinton preceded him in death just 5 months ago; he is also preceded by his grandparents, Gene Gordineer of Florence and Jay and Lorraine Thomas of Clinton-Our Loss is Heaven’s gain. As Nathan would say ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

“I’m in total shock…You were always smiling and telling me how beautiful I was. Texting me pictures of baby pigs asking if I wanted one but not to tell my mom, lol… You left way to early and you are very missed. Love you Nate!” a message from his cousin, Macy.
