Neil Anthony Boyd, 42, of Jacksonville, FL passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2016. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Brandon Baptist Church, with a memorial service immediately following .
Neil is survived by his father Michael C. Boyd (wife Joan), his mother Toni Jackson Boyd, both of Brandon, MS, his sister Dana Spurrier (husband Richard, niece Bella) of Fleming Island, FL, his brothers Eric Boyd (wife Lori and nieces Taylor, Kaitlyn and Erica) of Jacksonville, FL, and Alex Boyd of Brandon, MS.
Neil graduated from Brandon HS in 1992. He also earned a BS in Nursing from the University of North Florida in 2004. Neil proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was discharged in 2009. He had a meaningful nursing career in surgery, ER, Home Health, and most recently as a travel nurse in Tallahassee, FL.
Neil always lived life on the edge. He was an avid skydiver, kitesurfer, and wakeboarder, just to name a few. He loved animals and is now reunited with his beloved dog Rusty.
