Nelda Faye Stewart, 63, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 5-8 pm Thursday, November 19, 2015 and 9:30 am Friday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services will be held at 11 am Friday at the funeral home with burial in Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery. Rev. Calvin Williams will officiate.
Nelda was a native of Simpson County and a longtime resident of Pearl. She was a member of Skyway Hills Baptist Church in Pearl and she was a person that enjoyed life and loved her family very much. Nelda loved singing gospel music and going to gospel concerts and will be missed by all her friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Stewart of Pearl; sisters, Debbie Lynn Bowman Smith (Alan) of Clinton and Ann Frith (Tim) of Brandon; brothers, Clifton Creel (Vivian) of Pearl and Alan Creel of Pearl; step-mother, Annette Creel of Edwards; step-sister, Lisa Cast of Edwards and step-brother, Calvin Williams of Pearl.
Nelda was preceded in death by her parents, Cletious and Lou Nell Creel.
