Nett Madden

Nettie Fern Dodson Madden, 89, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Forest. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 27 at 11:00 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS.

Mrs. Madden’s faith in the Lord was an inspiration to her family and those who knew her.

Mrs. Madden was preceded in death by her loving husband, James L. Madden; both of her children, David Dodson Madden and Tamara Shea Madden Risher; and sister, Nell Dodson Woodall.

Mrs. Madden is survived by five grandchildren, Krisan Risher Williams (Todd), Kimberly Risher Norman, Katie Madden Saunders (Harris), James Madden (Maria), and Jack Madden; son-in-law, Clyde Wayne “Shot” Risher; daughter-in-law, Marianna Madden; sisters, Dorothy “Dott” Broussard and Jackie White (Joe); brother, M.L. Dodson (Dee); twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
