Nett Knott Stewart, 86, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at her home in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, December 30, 2016 and 9 am Saturday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 10 am Saturday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
Jannie Antoinette (Nett) Walters was born on June 13, 1930 to the late Silas Milton and Mamie Lou Myers Walters. She moved to Jackson Mississippi after high school graduation. She had worked for Busch Jewelry as a salesperson for over 20 years. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Forest. She was the best Mama who loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Knott; and two brothers.
Survivors include two children, Jimmy Knott (Betty) of Pearl, MS, and Aurdey Knott King (Bruce) of Pearl, MS; grandchildren, James W. (Buddy) Knott (Connie) , C. J. King (Lauren), Jason King (Lauren) and Melissa Knott Gilmore (Darryl); and four great grandsons.
