Neva Lee Massey

Neva Lee Massey, 106, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Brandon Court in Brandon. Visitation will be Sunday, 12 noon until 1 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday at Barefoot Springs Cemetery with Bro. Bill Prestage officiating.

Mrs. Massey was a longtime resident of the Morton area and was a member of Barefoot Springs Baptist Church. She loved to work in her garden, even up until her 90s. She loved her family very much and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Dale Massey; daughter, Glenda Phillips; sister, Vera Mena; 5 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her parents, Abe Gordon, Jr. and Melissa Smith Gordon; husband, J. C. Massey; siblings, Albert Gordon, Tommy Gordon, Lelia Gray, Otis Gordon and Ortis Owens; daughter-in-law, Patsy Massey and son-in-law, Carl Phillips.
