Norman Carlton Hubbard, 79 passed away December 5, 2017. Visitation is Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 12pm-2pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama. Graduate of Woodlawn High School and attended Auburn University. Served in the US Air Force. More than 50 years in the furniture business. Furniture buyer for McRae’s Department Store and named Mississippi Retail Furniture Man of the Year for 1976. Traveled as a Furniture Representative for more than 20 years. M.H.F.R.A President in 1986.
Charter member of Crossgates United Methodist Church. A people person with a sweet spirit that was beloved by many. Preceded in death by parents O.M Hubbard and Beatrice Hubbard. Survived by his wife, Dorothy Riddle Hubbard; daughter, Tracy Hubbard and son, Jeffrey Hubbard. Memorials made to American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.
