Mr. Nova James Harrell, age 47, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. His visitation was held 5pm-until Friday, November 1, 2013 at Kalem United Methodist Church. Visitation was held 2pm Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Kalem United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Art Kintsley officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home In Morton.
Nova was born in Helena, Arkansas on December 29, 1965. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and riding his 4-wheeler. Nova also enjoyed driving his tractor and working on his farm. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his sister; Teresa Canoy; grandparents, Glover and Pauline Harrell and Floyd and Laura Parkman.
He is survived by his father, John Ellis Harrell (Sherrye) of Morton; mother, Shirley Hudson of Delo; sisters, Sharon Novita Caves (Ervin) of Magee, Dixie Sauderes (Roy) of Florence, Laura Hudson (Eric) of Pearl; brother, Wesley Harrell of Morton; aunts; Francis E. Cagle of Cordova, TN and Danna Rushing of Harperville; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Michael Bishop, Wesley Harrell, Alan Graham, Chris Rushing, Daniel Rushing and Kevin Poore.
