Ola Mae McNeil, age 86 a resident of Bay Springs formerly of Louin died Thursday September 19, 2013 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Saturday September 21, 2013 at Leaf River Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8 pm Friday September 20, 2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. Danny Dickerson and Rev. Jim McIntosh will officiate.
Mrs. McNeil was a native of Smith County. She was the daughter of Connie R. Wiggins and Cabbie Lott Wiggins. She was married to Bernie Edward McNeil. Mrs. McNeil was a homemaker, a faithful member of Leaf River Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Michael McNeil and daughter; Debbie McNeil.
Mrs. McNeil is survived by three daughters, Mary Kyzar of Newton, MS, Dianne Moore (Earnest) of Pineville, MS and Sherry Downs (Jeff) of Bay Springs, MS; a son Billy Ray McNeil (Elaine) of Pineville, MS. She is also survived by a sister; Mary Lee Boykin (Charles Ray) of Gulfport, MS. She also leaves behind a legacy of twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
