Mrs. Ona Pearl Welborn, age 76, a resident of Meridian passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at Infinity Hospice. Visitation will be held 6-9pm Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Service will be 11am Friday at the Ott & Lee Chapel with burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Donald Turner will officiate the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Welborn; parents, Andrew Stewart and Florence Holmes Stewart; brothers, Milton & Jack Stewart; sisters, Beatrice Brown and Eloise Brown.
Survived by her children, James Welborn (Angela) of Collinsville, Nathan Welborn (Eva) of Chatom, AL and Ann Smith (Larry) of Meridian; grandchildren, Elizabeth Welborn, Ron Welborn, Don Welborn and Brittany Moore; 3 great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Sherry and Braxton Welborn; sisters, Modena Griffin, Floy Spears and Bobbie Sue Darty; brothers, A.J. Stewart, Sid Stewart and Roy Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Ron Welborn, Don Welborn, James Welborn, Nathan Welborn and Larry Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Service: Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11am in the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.
