Orion Rene Leath
Pearl, MS
Orion Rene Leath, 25, was born prematurely on March 14, 1999, weighing 3 lbs 3oz. He was the toughest fighter. Throughout his 25 years on earth, he strived to combat every hurdle thrown his way.
Orion never met a stranger. He never garnished ill will towards anyone. He loved long car rides with the stereo blaring. He loved going to the movie theater, riding horses and swimming. Iron man was his favorite Avenger and he’d watch that movie on repeat.
He loved living in the moment. He was preceptive and would hold your hand or lean over batting those big, brown eyes and grin at just the right moments. He loved his mom so much! He was Mama’s boy. He was the BEST Big Bubba to his younger sisters.
He was stubborn, he was funny, and he was sassy.
Orion fought hard for 21 days until his lungs succumbed to pneumonia. He was surrounded by those closest to him as he drew in his last breath at 1244 on January 21, 2025.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbi Leath of Pearl, MS; sisters, Berkana, Maitland, Aurora, and Christine; his nephew Jaxon, his grandparents, Robert and Sue Leath, III of Moselle, MS; his Aunt Erica Leath (Tanya) of Des Moines, IA; Uncle Aaron Leath (Kaleigh) of Petal, MS; his Uncle Roy Glenn of Oxnard, CA; his grandfather, Earl Tarble of AZ; his Uncle Dan Shorb of AZ; his Uncle Matt Shorb of AZ; his Uncle Will Tarble of AZ; his great-grandmother, Roma Martin of Gulfport, MS and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He will be joining his grandmother Meg Tarble of Arizona; great-grandparents, Robert and Sandra Leath, Jr. of Memphis, TN; and father, Joshua Shorb of Arizona in Heaven.
