Patricia D. “Pat” Wallace, age 64, a lifelong resident of Morton, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, April 13, 2016, from the chapel of the Ott & Lee Funeral home in Morton with interment in Morton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2015. Rev. Jerry Holmes will officiate.
Pat was born on August 16, 1951 in Morton to her parents; Bill Adams and Mildred Thornton Adams. She was a member of East Morton Baptist Church. She was employed by Koch Foods for thirty nine years. Pat will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Kirkland Maxwell Gainey.
Survivors include two children; Chasity Phipps and Chad Phipps of Morton. She is also survived by three brothers; Sammy Adams of New Mexico, Billy Adams and Garnet Adams both of Morton and one sister; Myrtle Hines of Morton. Pat also leaves behind eight grandchildren and two great grand-children.
Pallbearers are Kevin Gainey, Mitch Pickett, Charlie Purvis, Larry Lynn Meeks, Wilbur Waggoner and Adam Waggoner.
