Patricia Jolly

Patricia Grubbs Jolly, of Richland, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Mrs. Jolly was born on March 25, 1946, to Emmit and Ruth Grubbs. She married Jimmy Jolly in 1965, and together they had two children, Wanda and Kent.

Mrs. Jolly was a member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church. She was blessed with a green thumb and could grow anything. She enjoyed games, especially card games. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and dabbled in oil painting. She adored her granddaughters and loved spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Clarice; and her brother, James Grubbs.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Jolly; daughter, Wanda Jolly Holloway; son, Kent Jolly (Tammy); 5 granddaughters; 4 great grandchildren; and her brother, Ricky Grubbs.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Compassus Hospice.

The funeral service for Mrs. Jolly will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 am with Elder David Pyles officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Mrs. Jolly will be laid to rest in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Newton County at 2:00 pm on Saturday.
