Patricia Lester

Patricia Ann Lester, 73, passed away Thursday March 14, 2019 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 5-9 pm Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Ott and LeeFuneral  Home in Brandon. Services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home with burial in Hodge Hill Cemetery in Morton. Rev. Jerry Hamilton will officiate.

Mrs. Lester was a native of Itta Bena, MS and a longtime resident of Morton and Pelahatchie. She attended First Apostolic Church in Pelahatchie and retired from Rickett and Coleman in Brandon after many years of service.

Mrs. Lester loved gardening, fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Some of her favorite pastimes were drinking coffee, doing crossword puzzles and listening to gospel and blue grass music.

Survivors include her daughters, Georgia Westbrooks (Donald) of Pelahatchie, Brenda Alexander (Randy) of Braxton and Robbie Rust (Troy) of Pelahatchie; son, Randy Lester of Morton; step-son, Charles Lester, Jr. of Greenville; step-daughter, Evelyn Bell of Rolling Fork; sister, Bobbie Upton of Indianola; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Lester was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lester, Sr. in 2017 and step-son, Danny Lester in 2019.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Rust, Chandler Rust, Evan Alexander, Jonathan Franklin, Anthony Blissett and Cody Saxton.
