Patricia Shipp

Patricia Shipp, age 80, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 10 am Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment in Rosemont Gardens in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and beginning at 9 am on Thursday.

Patricia was a loving sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a Mimi, and Mamaw first and foremost and would do anything for her beloved grandchildren.

Patricia was our family’s historian with her wealth of knowledge and recollection. She loved to garden and spent many of afternoons attending to her beloved roses and hibiscus. She was a lover of all animals and leaves behind her cherished cat.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, William Shipp; daughters, Cynthia Ann Pharr and Elizabeth Cagle; parents, Colemon Ingram and Merle McQueen; sister, Evelyn Ainsworth and brother, Keifer McQueen.

Patricia is survived by her children, Robert (Phyllis) Williams, Kenneth (Lori Ann) Williams and Miriam (John) McGregor; brother, Kenneth Ray McQueen; sister, Miriam Ingram; grandchildren, Monica C. Nettles, Lindsey Pharr, Nicholas Williams; Heather Fitzgerald, Tina Mebesoone, Rebbeca Williams, Ashley Nicole Williams, Amber Cagle, Aurora Crippen, Clayton Shipp, Morgan Hemphill, Alex Hemphill and Clara Beth Ware; 13 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; aunt, Lucy Crosby; nieces, Beth Sanford and Susan Blackburn; nephews, David and Mark Bell and a host of friends.
