Patricia Ann Shields Berryhill, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at her home. Visitation will start at 1:30pm on Friday, September 18 until the 3pm funeral service at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Interment will follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Patty was born in Lima, Ohio on January 25, 1936, to the late John H. Shields and late Alvena Stevely Shields. She loved reading, boating and water skiing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and children.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Berryhill of Pearl, MS; sons, Michael (Barbara) Galligan of San Antonio and Thomas (Shari) Galligan of San Antonio, TX; brother, John H. Shields, II; 6 grandchildren, Chelsea Conner, Sean Galligan, Kathryn Sage Sisney, Bradley Cole Galligan, Katherine Goodwin and Danner Goodwin; one great granddaughter, Madyson Claire Sisney; she is also survived by her special friend and caregiver, Hattie Stamps. . She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Galligan Goodwin and brothers, Dwayne and Thomas Shields.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
