Patrick Werne

Patrick Dayle Werne, 65, passed away Sat. Sept. 15, 2018 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Sept. 18, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Wed. Sept. 19, 2018 from 12:30pm-1:45pm at First Baptist Church West Campus in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Wed. Sept. 19, 2018 at First Baptist Church West Campus with burial to follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Werne was born in Memphis, TN and has been a resident of Brandon, MS since 1979. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Brandon, MS where he served on the nursing home ministry team. Through this team he served as a Sunday School Teacher and as a Music Leader at the Crossgates Nursing and Rehab Center in Brandon, MS. Mr. Werne truly loved the Lord and was a man of God who loved to serve his fellow man. He retired after 35 years of service with W.W. Grainger. Mr. Werne was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed working out and running.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Werne; father, Sonny Werne; three children, Meredith Werne Sims (Richard Lee), Chad Werne (Kelli) and Jessica Pitts (Creighton); four grandchildren, Ellis Werne, Iverson Sims, Sadler Sims, Mollie Ryan Pitts and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Werne is preceded in death by his mother, Willene Werne and a brother, Mike Werne.
