Patsy was born April 4, 1956, in Durant, MS. She graduated from Hinds Jr. College and earned her degree as a Dental Assistant. She worked for several dentists, ending her career with Dr. Daniel B. Story II, who was not only her employer, but also a very good friend.
Patsy considered becoming a mother her greatest accomplishment, and she did a phenomenal job. She loved Jesus as her personal Savior and was a long time member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jackson, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Doyle and Mary Grace Clanton and her in-laws, Howard Edward Coon, Jr. and Dorothy Jean Crawford Coon, whom she considered to be parents also.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Howard E. Coon III; her beloved daughter, Clancy Miranda Coon Readman (Jack); granddaughter, Selah Grace Readman and her sister, June Pickle (Bobby). She has many nieces and nephews that she thought the world of and they adored her.
She will be greatly missed by her family that loves her so! We are so thankful this is not the end or the last time we will see Patsy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Jackson, MS.
