Patsy Irby Measels Gray, age 61, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at her residence in Pelahatchie. Visitation was held 5-9pm Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 8am-10am Thursday at the funeral home. Services were held 11am Thursday, August 31, 2017 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Billy Ray Parker officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Patsy was born October 20, 1955 in Rankin County. She enjoyed spending time with her family, kids and grandchildren. Patsy was just a genuine person and loved life. She also enjoyed fishing. Patsy always had a beautiful smile and loved to go dancing. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Otis Ray Irby and Etta Wilson Irby and husband, Jimmy Gray.
She is survived by her children, Cameron Measels (Crystal Hawkins) of Pelahatchie and Kellie Westerfield (Nelson) of Pelahatchie; 3 siblings, Larry Irby (Patsy) of Garland, TX, Barbara Henry (Jerry) of Pelahatchie and Richard Irby of Pelahatchie; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly Measels, Tori Shoemaker, Chandler Mosley and Dakota Westerfield; special friend, Arron Wadsworth; 2 step children, Jeff Gray (Amy) and Leonard Gray; 12 step grandchildren, Zach, Adam & Brad Westerfield, Michale & Michelle Wilson, Matthew Gray (Kayla), Leea Gray, Sarah and Nora Gray, Heather & Cameron Bunch and Ashley Franklin; 5 step great grandchildren, Paisyn Gray, Jaden Blackwell, Taylor & Jenna Franklin and Marley Conn and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Scottie Irby, Brennon Irby, Adam Irby, Kyle Irby, Bill Irby, Matthew Gray and Jerry Henry. Honorary pallbearer was Jerry Henry.
